Meet the Team

Michelle, Dental Hygienist

Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 1989 and her Dental Hygiene Associate of Science Degree from Montgomery County Community College in 1999 (Summa cum Laude). Her strong desire to work directly with patients and use her significant health education experience led her to the dental hygiene field. Michelle has been proudly working with Dr. Paster since he purchased the practice in 2012.  Michelle also holds a license in local anesthesia and is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner.  Her happy place is at the beach and spending time traveling with her husband, Pete.  Michelle is a VERY proud Penn State alumni and a big fan of PSU football.

Devon-Lin, Dental Hygienist

Devon-Lin joined the practice in 2004 after graduating Summa cum Laude from Montgomery Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program. She is a member of the dental honor society, Sigma Phi Alpha, and the Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene Association. Devon-Lin is also licensed as a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, caring for her horses, and gardening.

Katie, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), Sleep Coordinator

Katie began her career in dentistry in 2010 and joined The Royersford Dentist in 2021. She was educated at Berks Career & Technology Center, and Harcum College where she was trained as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. This license allows her to place and contour composite and other restorative materials, place sealants, polish teeth, and perform additional dental procedures.

Katie has also become an integral part of treating sleep apnea and snoring within the practice.  She enjoys the fact that her role extends beyond the oral cavity and that she can affect the overall health of her patients.  She is an active member of the AADSM (American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine).

“I am grateful to have the opportunity to interact with our patients, while providing education on dental care and good oral hygiene. Additionally, I love to allow my artistic abilities to shine in the restorations I place.”

When she’s not at the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter, cooking, art, and the outdoors.

Kayla, Treatment Coordinator

Kayla is originally from Hattiesburg, MS.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010, and her Bachelor of Science in Fisheries & Wildlife Science from Oregon State University in 2015. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service, which made her a perfect team member for our treatment coordinator position. Several years ago, Kayla had the opportunity to get into the dental field and has found it to be very rewarding. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, as well as oil painting.
